The Unit are closing in and Demos needs one of his team to go deep cover.

Enter Suki.

Fashion obsessed, boy-crazy and more than a little kooky, Suki is a mind reader with a special talent for buying shoes and for listening in on private conversations.

Tasked with infiltrating the enemy (namely Jack and Alex) Suki rises to the challenge, leaving a trail of chaos, destruction (and a large room service bill) in her wake.

A prequel to the events of Hunting Lila and including many of the characters from the book, this short story told through Suki’s eyes, will have you laughing out loud and gripping the edge of your seat.

My Take:

This was a short story and I have to say being inside Suki head is awesome she is able to tell what everyone is thinking and when Demos needs her even though she is re-thinking her place on his team. She does what she is told even though it takes more telling her what to do than anything else. When she needs information on Jack and Alex, what you say around people who are part of a unit being trained to take down people like her. So when she lets slip something she is now a target and of course with the way Suki dresses its kinda hard to think no one will remember her.

This little short was awesome and getting to know what happened before Hunting Lila was kinda amazing. With this though I'm now even more anxious for the 2nd book because being inside Alex's head is one thing but being able to see him all the time is what any girl should want.

5/5 stars

My Book Boyfriend (5): Alex Wakeman

My Book Boyfriend is a weekly meme, hosted by Missie at The Unread ReaderWhat is My Book Boyfriend you might ask.  Well it is a weekly meme where we talk about a literary crush including stats, a picture of what you imagine he looks like and some quotes from him that make you swoon.  If you are interested in participating please check out the My Book Boyfriend Introduction Page over at Missie's blog The Unread Reader.

My choice for this weeks MBB is Alex Wakeman from Hunting Lila. He is the type of guy that would do anything for  Lila. His best friend just happens to Lila's brother Jack. Ever since I finished Lila he has been on my mind, he is such a catch that the hot guy your brother is hiding might just be an Alex. So without further ado here he is the reveal of the man who touched me so.

Stats:Age: 21
Eye Color: Blue
Hair color: Dark Blonde
Description: He has dark blonde hair which has been crew cut. He's tall and lean and completely bronzed from the sun. He also rides a motorcycle.

“When I said I had no choice about helping you, I meant it. There was no other option because you are the only option. I don't trust anything at the moment. But the one thing I am sure of, the one thing I do trust..." he paused for a fraction of a second, "is the way I feel about you.”

“When you came down the stairs, and fell into me, that was the moment.” Then his lips pressed against mine.

“A few minutes later, Alex wandered through in a clean pair of shorts and bare feet, water still trickling down his neck from his bristling hair. My stomach did a one-eighty flip as I caught sight of the ridges of muscle running down his torso. Then he pulled on a t-shirt and I sighed audibly”

The actor i chose for Alex was Jonathan Lipnicki, for those who need a stroll down memory lane he played alongside Tom Cruise in Jerry Maguire and also the Stuart Little. He was the cute and adorable kid in both movies. What even he did to look like this was so the right move he is still adorable and come on swoon worthy. Right am I right.

Can help but fan myself when I see these. Yup is so swoon worthy.
