Review: Spirit Bound by Richelle Mead

New York Times Bestselling author Richelle Mead gives us hope in Spirit Bound

"Dimitri gave Rose the ultimate choice. But she chose wrong…

After a long and heartbreaking journey to Dimitri’s birthplace in Siberia, Rose Hathaway has finally returned to St. Vladimir’s—and to her best friend, Lissa. It is nearly graduation, and the girls can’t wait for their real lives beyond the Academy’s iron gates to begin. But Rose’s heart still aches for Dimitri, and she knows he’s out there, somewhere.

She failed to kill him when she had the chance. And now her worst fears are about to come true— Dimitri has tasted her blood, and now he is hunting her. Only this time, he won’t rest until Rose joins him…forever."

Spirit Bound is the 5th book in The Vampire Academy series by Richelle Mead and while reading this book not only do I have a million and one questions but I guess I gained a better perspective of Rose the view point in which the book is perceived in. This was amazing because it had me on my feet wanting more romance and more fighting those scenes are the ones o die for while reading them and the way Mead is able to design this image in my head. Personally I love that image a lot.

I just want to say that even though this series is having me on edge, I can't wait to have all the missing pieces to this amazing puzzle. Because it comes out on Tuesday December 7th and I am on edge at this moment in time.

Review: Safe Haven by Nicholas Sparks

From the author that brought you The Notebook and A Walk To Remember, brings us Safe Haven.

"When a mysterious young woman named Katie appears in the small North Carolina town of Southport, her sudden arrival raises questions about her past. Beautiful yet self-effacing, Katie seems determined to avoid forming personal ties until a series of events draws her into two reluctant relationships: one with Alex, a widowed store owner with a kind heart and two young children; and another with her plainspoken single neighbor, Jo. Despite her reservations, Katie slowly begins to let down her guard, putting down roots in the close-knit community and becoming increasingly attached to Alex and his family.
But even as Katie begins to fall in love, she struggles with the dark secret that still haunts and terrifies her . . . a past that set her on a fearful, shattering journey across the country, to the sheltered oasis of Southport. With Jo's empathic and stubborn support, Katie eventually realizes that she must choose between a life of transient safety and one of riskier rewards . . . and that in the darkest hour, love is the only true safe haven."

My take:
Sparks has done it again he has captured my heart and gave me some hope in that women can leave the darkness and start over i love this man thank you for this nick really thank you. The story is written so well that I felt what Katie was going through and I wanted to hold her and tell her that everything was okay and that she was safe. This book is different than his others because the characters involved had to have over come some hard times to get the where the story took place. I'm in love with Alex because he didn't care about Katie's background all he needed was the now I really cared about that because women need someone who will be that person I give it 5/5 because it actually made me cry at the end, and it touched my heart in so many ways. Go and see for yourself because it will change your mind about Nicholas and his type of writing.
